Sunrise hike to the top of Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh.
Could have been cousins.
Pitstop on the way to Postiano for this truly beautiful sunset and view.
Isabella Fehlandt is a graduate of Temple University's theater program. She has extensive training in acting, dance, physical-theater techniques, and voice/singing. Recently, she performed professionally with the Philadelphia Artists’ Collective, Luna Theater Company and Curio Theatre Company.
First a dancer, Isabella has an excellent mind-body connection and enjoys training in this physical-theater method. “Izzy” also holds a 200-hour teacher training certificate through Yoga Alliance in Vinyasa techniques with an Ashtanga lineage.
In the summer of 2016 Isabella attended “Acrobat of the Heart," an immersive Grotowski-based performance training workshop with Stephen Wangh, author of Acrobat of the Heart and The Heart of Teaching. Other well-regarded teaching-artists in the workshop included Erica Fae, Raina Von Waldenburg, and Wendy Vanden Huevel. Isabella continues the Grotowski training with Erica Fae in her workshops in New York City.
Beyond theater, film and commercial print and television work, she is a burlesque performer and finds joy in her own experience of creating classic and - most certainly - comedic performances.
From August 2018 - October 2018 she backpacked through Europe, visiting the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, London - and seeing performances at The Globe and The National Theater, visiting the Cliffs of Moher outside of Dublin, attending the Fire Parade and a weekend long arts festival in Barcelona, to name just a few of the adventures. She thinks that traveling and experiencing being present and active in different parts of the world is one of the most incredible ways that makes life interesting.
Isabella also works for a company called Healthy Humor where she is a hospital clown and a team supervisor at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Brookdale Hospital, and Harlem Hospital. She has throroughtly been enjoying being a professional doofus and a Grade-A weirdo for over a year and a half now, doing mostly improv, physical comedy, fart jokes, and getting people movin’ and groovin’ with her dance moves. Her “doctor” name is Dr. Meow.
Known for her versatility, and bringing a vulnerability and eagerness to her work, Isabella has been described as an dynamic, eager, invested and compassionate actor.
